On behalf of our client Annual Insight, Flexxy Recruitment Solutions is looking to hire an Experienced Cloud Support Engineer.

ANNUALINSIGHT collects and analysis huge amounts of open data of companies and markets, we translate this into applicable information for our customers. This information can be, for instance, to provide insight relating to competitors, growing markets, or supplier risks.

You will become a part of the product development team that currently consists of a data technical lead, a product lead, a couple of data engineers, a cloud support engineer, and a junior cloud support engineer. We, as a company, have the ambition to grow and so will this team grow. As medior engineer, you will be responsible for the coaching and management of the current and future cloud support engineers.

Your Responsibilities:

You will help in the development of an innovative and fast-growing data platform with the ambition to create a strategic intelligence platform for our clients, both on a national & international level. As a cloud support engineer you are responsible for monitoring, improving & fixing any critical problems relating to our data platform. You’ll mainly be working with SQL database, Azure services, ETL tooling & Power Apps. As we’ve outsourced our Microsoft 365 maintenance this will not be a big focus of the position.

Furthermore, you will also be responsible for the internal processes towards the business relating to the visualization part, for which we utilize the Power Apps. Also, you are our go-to person when it comes to data models of the platform and you’ll make sure, together with the team, this is scalable. This means you will be responsible for the center of our data platform, with connections to all the other parts. We offer a lot of freedom in terms of defining what the best route is for data processing & visualization.

In order to create clear expectations and deadlines, we work according to a two-weekly agile sprint.

As we are looking for an experienced cloud support engineer, we are aiming to hire someone that, in the near future, will slowly but surely move to a more strategic role and help us grow the team. You will be responsible for the coaching, mentoring, and managing of the other cloud support engineers.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in working with SQL & data modelling
  • Previously worked in an Azure environment
  • Proactive personality
  • Fluent in English
